If you are Windows 7 users than You might have noticed that you don’t have Run command option located in the Start Menu. Run command is used to run ay program, application or file directly by entering single word or phrase command.
you are able to use the same Run Box service from the Search Box in the Start Menu.
here’s the quick tip to show the Run Command in the Windows 7 Start Menu.
1. Click the right mouse button on the taskbar and select the Properties in the pop-up menu.

2. In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties box go to the Start Menu tab and click on the Customize button.
3. Now in the Customize Start box scroll down and tick the Run Command check box and press OK.
Now you can see Run option in your Start Menu.
