Firestatus is a another Firefox add-on which lets you send updates to your Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed, Del.icio.us, and Identi.ca quickly from your Firefox status bar. It is a great time saver and easy to use. With Firestatus, you don’t need to open your all social services each time in your web browser.
Even, it also displays from these services for a live communication with your friends. It gives you pop-up notification on the right bottom corner of your window when you receive updates in your account.
To get stated download and install FireStatus add-on.
Right click on the icon on the right side of the status bar in Firefox, click Preferences, Enter your username and password to connect with all the social services. To post to Facebook, you need to authorize your account.
Once you are done, click the icon in your status bar, a small window will open at the bottom. Enter your text, select the social services you want to update and click the send button.
You can also set timing-interval between updates, URL shortening service (tinyURL or urlBorg) and start/stop receiving updates from any service.
