When any program or application stop to work in Windows XP OS, most of all users press the + Alt + Delete shortcut keys to launch the Windows Task manager.
But in Windows Vista and 7 when users press the same Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys, a different screen appears with several options Lock this computer, Switch User, Log off, Change Password and Start Task Manager.
Here is a small tip, InWindows 7 and vista use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager directly. So keep remember next time to press Ctrl + Shift + Esc shortcut key to avoid the screen.

Um, this is exactly how Windows XP works also (i.e. Ctrl+Alt+Del opens a dialog box with some buttons, one of which is Task Manager, while Ctrl+Shift+Esc goes directly to the Task Manager). Nothing has changed.
