A iPad user, Max Shay has connected the external HHH to his Apple iPad using the Apple Camera Connection Kit. He has posted a video of a Spirit jailbroken iPad, mounting an external hard drive and copying files via iFile and Google Reader apps.
According to Max Shay, you may need the following things to connect the external HHD with your iPad.
- A Camera Connection Kit
- Jailbroken iPad
- An external Hard Drive formatted to either HFS or FAT32
- Mobile terminal
- Split USB data cable
- In Cydia, the iFile, Google Reader and OpenSSH apps
