View your Web Browsers memory usage in Google Chrome

May 11, 2010

Google Chrome has a built-in feature which helps users to check the memory usage on the currently opened web browsers.

All you have to do is just type about:memory in your Google Chrome address bar and hit the enter.

After that, Google Chrome will display the memory usage details of the all your browsers that are currently running. It also shows shared and virtual memory. Here I was running Google Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer 8.

Moreover, you also can view the memory usage of each individual opened tab in Google Chrome.

Though, it doesn’t show the real time quick update of memory usage, this is a easy way to check browsers memory consumption.
