Firefox Home app for the iPhone submitted to Apple Store

Recently, Mozilla team has submitted the Firefox Home app to Apple Store for approval. Firefox Home is a free application that lets you have access to your Firefox desktop history, bookmarks and open tabs on your iPhone.

The Firefox Home 1.0 works on both iPhone 4 and iOS 4.0 GM. It will work on the iPad but it isnt optimized for the iPad.

The app requires to install an additional add on Firefox Sync on your computer. Firefox Home uses the Firefox Sync to access your Firefox browser information and sends it to the cloud which you can accesses them from your iPhone.

• Awesome Bar Search to get you to your recently and frequently visited sites with minimal typing

• End-to-end encryption so only you have access to your Firefox data
• Access to your Settings to see what data has been ported, as well as the option to Refresh at any time
