Just Recently, iPhone Dev Team has released a jailbreak tool – JailbreakMe 2.0 (Star) for iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G device. It became a easiest way to jailbreak iPhone 4 just using the Mobile Safari browser.
But Today, Apple has announced to CNET that they found a fix to block the JailbreakMe 2.0 exploit and gone to release it as iOS software update. Apple didn’t say when the update would be pushed out.
We’re aware of this reported issue, we have already developed a fix and it will be available to customers in an upcoming software update.
There are two distinct vulnerabilities in the iPhone uncovered with the jailbreak software’s release, One flaw is in the way the browser parses PDF files, enabling the code to get inside a protective sandbox, and the other hole allows code to break out of the sandbox and get root, or control, privileges on the device.
