How to Display New Indian Currency Symbol on Blog and Websites

We already wrote on how to write the New Indian Currency symbol on your computer in Ms Word, Notepad etc. But now you also able to display the symbol on the blogs and websites by adding a simple script line.

WebRuppe has developed an API to write Indian Rupee symbol on webpages, blogs or somewhere on internet easily.

How to Display New Indian Currency Symbol on Blog and Website

First add the below stylesheet link in the head section of your webpage.

Now add the following code enclosing your Rs. word.

There is also one more way using the below JavaScript which will update all the Rs / Rs. for you.

WordPress users can add this JavaScript in the header.php or footer.php files of the blog theme.

This rupee symbol is not an image, it is dynamically generated by WebRupee API for web viewing. So if you try to copy that symbol from web and paste it in your computer Notepad, you will see Rs. and not some other or blank character.
