MuscleNerd, a guy from iPhone Dev Team has announced that a hacker pod2g has found a exploit in newly released iOS 4.1 firmware, which can be used to jailbreak it. This jailbreak tool work for iPhone 4, iPod Touch and iPad devices. yet, there is no words about the release date.
Update 1: This exploit also valid for iPod touch 4G as Pod2g confirmed that in a tweet replying someone asking him about the iPod touch 4G, more details.
Update 2: MuscleNerd has officially confrimed that the latest esxploit from pod2g that it work on iPhone 4 , iPad and iPod Touch 4. Check more details.
But that doesn’t mean that the jailbreak is ready. There’s still a lot of work to do, the iPhone dev team will work on the unlock and this hacker will work on jailbreaking iOS 4.1
