GreenPois0n and SHAtter Together to Jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and iPad

Pod2g, who is working on SHAtter jailbreak tool for iOS 4.1 for all iDevices has recently confirmed that p0sixninja’s GreenPois0n tool will be used along with SHAtter to jailbreak iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4Gand iPad. A iPhone Hacker, P0sixninja had been working on GreenPois0n tool to jailbreak iPhone but wasn’t released.

Pod2g has tested @p0sixninja’s GreenPois0n jailbreak tool and confirmed its working on iPhone 4.

GreenPois0n was announced in March for iPad but was never released. GreenPois0n works on Windows as well as Mac. This jailbreak tool will be used as toolkit alongside SHAtter, the latest bootrom exploit by pod2g. This will save loads of time and cuts in jailbreak development of iOS 4.1 to half as Will Strafach points.

The Dev teams are working to successfully jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, 3G, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G and iPad.

Update:- The Chronic Dev Team is working on SHAtter along with GreenPois0n tool to jailbreak iOS 4.1 for all iDevcies.  The team has not confirmed yet that will that be a tethered or untethered jailbreak and is going to be released soon to jailbreak iOS 4.1 for iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, and iPad. Just take a look at the new GreenPois0n logo.

Update:- Chronic Dev Team has posted an update on their official blog that the work on jailbreak is on track and progress is quite smooth.

Many people in the comments are asking for a progress update. Any kind of update that we could actually give would be too technical for anyone to understand anyway, not to mention potentially reveal the exploit. Just know that things are going swimmingly and we are working as hard as we can. Any demos, screenshots, or *cough* download links will be posted to this blog before anywhere else, so keep an eye out!
