MuscleNerd, the iPhone Dev Team member announced on his Twitter account that the PwnageTool is coming out on this Sunday which can jailbreak Apple TV 2G devices. Not only this, PwnageTool may also works with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS to jailbreak them.
For AppleTV 2G users, the goal is for PwnageTool to cover you by Funday/Sunday (but still very limited app capability)
PwnageTool is a Mac only tool that allows you to update the firmware while preserving the baseband. It is necessary for those of you who want to be on the latest iOS, while keeping their iPhone unlock.
iPhone 3GS & iPhone 3G users should stay away from Limera1n, GreenPoison if you relay on unlock and wait for the release of the PwnageTool.
