The Chronic Dev Team has released an updated version Greenpois0n RC4 which supports the 2nd generation iPod Touch. This Greenpois0n RC4 tool can untethered jailbreak iPod Touch 2G running iOS 4.1 and supports both MB and MC models.
You can download Greenpois0n RC4 version from here. Currently Greenpois0n RC4 is available for Windows and Mac OS X, the Linux version will be released soon.
