Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 RC

Microsoft has released the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 RC (Release Candidate) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 RC. These both Service Pace include previous updates delivered over Windows Update as well as continuing incremental updates to the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 platforms.

They are available for both x86 (514 MB) and x64 (865 MB) systems. (Build no: 7601.17105.100929-1730).

In order to download and install the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Release Candidate you must currently have a Release to Manufacturing (RTM) version of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 already installed.

If you have previously installed the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta on your machine, you must uninstall the beta before installing the Release Candidate.

1. To download Windows 7 SP1 RC, visit the Microsoft Download page.

2. Click the Continue button. Before you download the package, you need to run the Windows Genuine Validation tool.

3. Click the Continue button to download GenuineCheck.exe file.

4. Run the exe file, you will be given a 8 letter validation code.

5. Copy the code and enter it into the box in step 2 and click the Validate button.

Now you will be able to see all download links for Windows 7 SP1 RC and Windows Sever 2008 R2 SP1 RC.
