iGotYa is a jailbroken app which helps users to find their lost or stolen iPhones. The iGotYa app uses the smartphone’s camera and geotagging feature to record the user and his or her where abouts, then sends the information to the owner in email.
iGotYa protects your iPhone with an unlock password. If the unlock code is entered wrong three times then the app activates and take a picture of the person using front-facing camera and also get the location where your iPhone is at and send it to iPhone’s authorized user’s email.
You can also allow access to the iPhone with a wrong code entered but all your personal data (SMS, Call History, Web History, Mail, etc) will be hidden.
Thus, iGotYa helps you to find your lost or stolen iPhone (specially iPhone 4). It also helps you to find the person who is trying to use your iPhone when you left it at home or while you’re sleeping.
If you want to run this application you need to have a jailbroken iPhone. You can jailbreak your iPhone using GreenPois0n or Limera1n.
