Official WordPress for Nokia app available to download

WordPress, the popular blogging platform, has officially announced the WordPress for Nokia app and now available to download from the Ovi Store for free. The WordPress for Nokia app lets you blog on the move, edit your existing blog content, add new posts and pages and manage comments on the go, directly from your S60 or Maemo powered Nokia device.

WordPress mobile application is also available for BlackBerry, Android and iPhone device, now WordPress has launched an app for Nokia users. The apps work for blogs hosted on WordPress servers and for blogs hosted elsewhere that just use the WordPress platform and content management system (CMS).

WordPress for Nokia is an Open Source project. Both the app and the source code are free to download and use and supports WordPress 2.7 or higher (both WordPress.com and self-hosted).

Currently the WordPress for Nokia app works with the N97 Mini and X6, but the development team is working  Symbian3 devices such as N8, C6, C7, and the app is completely free to download from Ovi Store.
