This is possible because the ARM Cortex processor in iPhone 3GS is capable of recording HD videos. With this Cydia tweak, you can bypass this limit.
You don’t need to go through the SSH and other long procedures in order to use this tweak. Of course, you need a jailbroken iPhone 3GS running on iOS 4.1 which you can do it by either using Limera1n or Greenpois0n.
Than look the HD Video Enabler for 3GS on Cydia and download it. Once you have installed the tweak, activate it via WinterBoard app to record 720p HD Video.
