iPhoneislam, iPhone developmemt group (the same guy behind (FaceTime Hactivator) has managed to get FaceTime calling on jailbroken iPhone 3GS with a tweak called FaceIT-3GS.
FaceIT-3GS is an another cool tweak which will enable FaceTime features on iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.1. As iPhone 3GS does not have a front facing camera, this tweak will only allow to see the person on the other end who make a FaceTime call using iPhone 4.

As you can see in the video installation of FaceIt 3GS is easy and simple. As of right now there is no video data working, only audio transmission seems to be working at the moment. Team promised to release it within a few days will be available free of cost on Cydia.
Update:- This tweak is available now on Cydia for free. All you have to do is to add http://apps.iphoneislam.com as repository in Cydia, and then search for FaceIt-3GS to install it. Once installed, reboot your iPhone 3GS and navigate to Settings –> Phone and turn on the toggle for FaceTime.
