Just recently, Rovio’s CEO Peter Vesterbacka has announced at the Social Gaming Summit that the Angry Birds game will soon be arriving at the Xbox Live Arcade, WiiWare and PlayStation Network. though a release date and price were not announced.

The Angry Birds game has been a huge hit on Apple iOS, Android OS, and webOS, and will most likely be sold as an Internet download for connected game boxes.
The game is expected to hit consoles before the sequel to one of the world’s most popular mobile apps arrives. There is one twist, the story unfolds on gaming consoles from the view of the pigs, instead of the traditional view of the birds. Hopefully, a sequel would be Internet-connected and can pick up on one device where you left off on another.
