iPhone Dev Team has just released a updated version of Redsn0w 0.9.6b3. This new version comes with very useful and interesting features, it supports SSH and SSL which will now allow you to install bundles and packages independent of Cydia, on iOS 4.2.1.
As your know, the current version of Cydia is not compatible with iOS 4.2.1. But the iPhone Dev Team has created SSH Bundle which will install / Enable Open SSH, Open SSL & APT on your jailbroken iOS Device without having Cydia working.
The iPhone Dev Team also warned that, this Redsn0w 0.9.6B3 features is for advance users only. The main reason behind adding this features to Redsn0w is that, to help the developer to get their apps/tweaks/programs ready for iOS 4.2.1 Final Version.
NOTE: All iPhone unlockers must STAY AWAY from Redsn0w. Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 supports tethered jailbreak only.
