AirVideoEnabler – Enable AirPlay Video Streaming to Apple TV from Safari and Other Apps

AirVideoEnabler is a new Cydia tweak which can enable AirPlay video streaming support in third party apps including Safari.

AirVideoEnabler will enable video streaming to Apple TV using iOs 4.2 AirPlay features from Safari and any third party app. This is a feature that many expect Apple to include in a future update, but is currently restricted to the YouTube.app.

This hack is developed by a developer named Zone-MR and currently AirVideo Enabler is available in Zone-MR repository but soon it will be available in other repositories too.

AirVideoEnabler enables video streaming to Apple TV’s using AirPlay from any application, including Safari. Normally, AirPlay Video is restricted to the YouTube app. This tweak is now available in the Cydia Store.

Of course, you will need to have a jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch and ipad on iOS 4.2.1 to install the app. Follow the step by step guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 4.2.1 with Redsn0w 0.9.6B4 if you haven’t already.

Than to install AirVideo Enable tweak, Launch Cydia, tap the Manage button and go to Sources > Edit > Add. Than type this repo in the sources http://cydia.zone-mr.net. Tap on Add source and wait for it to update.

Now find the AirVideo Enabler Tweak in Search tab, install it and start to use AirPlay feature in all apps on your iDevices.
