HD Photographer is a new Cydia tweak which enables Widescreen photos (720p HD resolution) in the built in Camera app on the iPod Touch 4G device. By default, the iPod Touch 4G has the ability to capture HD quality videos but not HD quality photos.
By installing HD photographer app, you are able to capture photos on iPod Touch 4G with increased number of megapixels. The tweak brings the 720p option by taking away the 4:3 aspect ratio. The tweak also brings you the option to decide when to take 720p images and when not to by adding a button to the Camera app which can be seen in the images.
HD Photographer is available under the BigBoss repository and costs you just $0.99.
