Google Latitude available to download for iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad

Google has finally launched an official Google Latitude app for Apple iOS devices and available to download from App Store and iTunes.

The Google Latitude allows you to see friends on the map and share your location with your friends. Even if your iPhone screen is locked or the app is closed, Google Latitude will continue to update your location in the background.

You can use Latitude on your iPhone just like the more than 9 million people actively using it from Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, and Windows Mobile smartphones. Use the app to:

• See where your friends are
• Share your location continuously with whomever you choose
• Contact friends by phone, text message, or email
• Control your location and privacy
