The Sony PlayStation Europe Blog has just announced the upcoming official PlayStation app for both iPhone and Android platforms.
with PlayStation app you will be able to,
- Check out your PlayStation Network trophies and keep up to date with your friends’ games and online status.
- Discover all the latest games, news and hardware for your PlayStation 3, PSP and PlayStation 2.
- Read all the announcements on the European PlayStation Blog.
- Share your favorite products or news with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.
Basically, you’ll be able to do everything except actually playing games.
According to the company, the app will be compatible with iPhone, iPod touch running iOS 4 or above and all Android phones running 1.6 or a later version. The app will be downloadable for FREE in UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Netherlands.
The next version of the app will add support for more SCEE countries and languages as well as allow you to comment on the official PlayStation blog posts.
