Greenpois0n RC5 to Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad coming soon

P0sixninja, the iPhone hacker behind the Greenpois0n jailbreak tool, has posted on twitter that the updated version of Greenpois0n RC5 is almost ready and will be released soon. The Greenpois0n RC5 will support jailbreak on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G and iPad running iOS 4.2.1. GreenPois0n is based on Geohot’s Limera1n bootrom exploit

yea, at this point in time rc5 is right around the corner so we’re just pressing ahead to get it out asap

According to P0ixninja, the new GreenPois0n RC5 tool will be tethered jailbreak on all iDevices.

no, i’ve been too busy working on updating it I haven’t had much time to work on exploits. I’m only human!

Greenpois0n was first scheduled to be release by the new year day but it has been delayed, as some more kernel patches in sandbox have to be applied.
