Just Recently, Verizon launched CDMA iPhone 4 working on iOS 4.2.5 and it includes Personal Hotspot feature using which you can turn your iPhone 4 into mobile hotspot. Now Boy Genius Report (BGR) has reported that their close source told that this Personal Hotspot features will be making its way to all iPhones in iOS 4.3.
According to our source, the personal hotspot feature that debuted on the Verizon iPhone yesterday will, in fact, be making its way to all iPhones in iOS 4.3. We’re sure there will need to be carrier support for this feature, and for AT&T users it is entirely possible we might not see this right away.
Personal Hotspot feature allows you to connect up to five devices (even the iPad) over WiFi network and share the cellular data connection of iPhone. The personal hotspot will need a password in order to join the network and to be able to share the data usage on the device those are connected to it. It is different than tethering process.
BGR also reports iOS 4.3 build version will be 8F5148b, baseband will be 04.08.00 and will launch in March.
