Samsung Galaxy S 4G Smartphone powered by Android 2.2

Recently, Samsung has announced Galaxy S 4G  smartphone which is powered by Google’s Android 2.2 (Froyo). This smartphone belongs to Galaxy S smartphone. Samsung already sold 10 million sets of galaxy S and it is the only Android smartphone to cross 10 million milestone.

The touch screen of Samsung Galaxy S 4G is made from AMOLED technology. This smartphone will be exclusively available on the airwaves of T-Mobile in the US.According to T-Mobile, users of Samsung Galaxy S 4G will be able to download data via mobile internet at speeds up to 21 Mbps. Cole Brodman, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA, said in a statement “With 4G data plans from $10 per month, we’re making blazing-fast 4G speeds and super smartphone experiences easily accessible to the millions who crave them.”

Complete specifications of handset are not yet available. The price and release date of this device is also still unknown.
