See A – Z Alphabet on Google Maps

Rhett Dashwood is a graphics designer from Australia, he has discovered some natural land and building formations resembling to alphabet A to Z. He found all these 26 words on Google Map with in satellite mode. He took  almost 6 months to find out every letter and his letters findings was limited within the state of Victoria, Austalia. He hasn’t manipulated any image by rotating the map or using photoshop.

This whole process is very time consuming and with lots of challenge. One need to scan Google Maps with very accurately and visually to look for suitable alphabet shape. You have to move through every page over the maps and also have to cover huge area to find them.

Here are all 26 letters captured from Google Maps service. Visit this site for more information where Dashwood has also put Google map links which show those place from where all these letters were discovered.

Even Rachel Young from Barcroft Media, has made a collection of alphabet using Google Maps within Britain. She finished this work only in 15 hours.
