Google Cloud Print lets you Print Documents on Gmail using your Smartphone

Google has just announced a new feature called Google Cloud Print service, now you can print your documents from your smartphone, which includes printing mobile documents and also documents from Gmail for mobile.

You can now print out documents from Google Docs and Gmail directly from your mobiles to your connected printer from anywhere. All you have to do is to configure your printer with Google Cloud Printing servers and there you go. Google Cloud Print also supports iOS devices – iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad through the Gmail’s mobile website.

Once your printer is connected to Google Cloud Print, visit the Gmail.com site from any device and give the “Print” command from the dropdown box to print the document. You can also print pdf and .doc documents with this service.

Imagine printing an important document from your smartphone on the way to work and finding the printout waiting for you when you walk in the door. Just open a document in Google Docs or an email in Gmail in your mobile browser and choose “Print” from the dropdown menu in the top right corner. You can also print certain kinds of email attachments (such as .pdf or .doc) by clicking the “Print” link that appears next to them.

At the moment, this feature will be available for Windows users only, but the Mac OS X and Linux support will be added soon.
