November 30, 2009

Most of all application and software have their own unique file types or file extention. Sometimes you may not know which application you should use for certain files. Its very annoying when you don’t know what kind of file you are dealing with.

File Type Checker comes handy when you feel difficulty to find out proper application for any interested file. It is very easy to use. All you have to do is first download this Zip file and extract it. Then open the file named filetypechecker (you don’t need installation). You will see a below box.

In your downloaded zip file you will find a another XML file named “document”. Put that file in the XML path of this box and in File Path put the file the one you want to know about and you will get details about this file in the section “File Details”.
