Chronic Dev-Team members, Jaywalker998 and westbaer has confirmed that the next GreenPois0n RC5 jailbreak untethered tool will allows iOS 4.2.1 to support animated custom boot logo on jailbroken iPhones, iPod touch and iPad.
For those who don’t know, a custom boot logo displays when the device boots up which is by default a white Apple logo, and the custom logo is a graphic object that shows up after your device boots up.
Jaywalker998 tweeted:
The current plan is for this animation to be available for your boot animation via Cydia. Additionally you will have source to make your own

It was already confirmed before that the upcoming “GreenPois0n RC5″ updated jailbreaking tool won’t required SHSH blobs to be saved on Cydia for untethered jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 2G, 3G, 4G and iPad.
