Chronic Dev Team has just released Greenpois0n RC5.4 for Mac and Windows users which can jailbreak your Verizon iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.6. The iPhone hacker, pod2h has just confirmed that Greenpois0n RC 5.4 worked well on the Verizon iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.6.

How to jailbreak iOS 4.2.6 Verizon iPhone 4 using Greenpois0n RC5.4

The guide to jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.6 is same as Greenpois0n RC5 jailbreak on iPhone 4. Now follow these step by step instructions to jailbreak your CDMA based iPhone 4 untethered on Verizon using the latest version of GreenPois0n.

1. First make sure your Verizon iPhone 4 is running iOS 4.2.6, if not, than update it using iTunes.

2. Download the Greenpoison RC5.4 version, extract the Greenpoison zip file and launch the application.

3. Connect your iPhone 4 to your computer via USB cable and click the Jailbreak button.

4. Now follow the on-screen instruction to put your iPhone in DFU mode.

• Press and Hold the Sleep button for 2 seco0nds
• Continue holding Sleep button, and press and hold the Home button for 15 seconds
• Than release the sleep button but continue holding Home button for 15 seconds

5. Once your iPhone 4 enters DFU mode, Greepnpois0n will start jailbreaking your device.

6. After the Jailbreaking process is completed, your iPhone will reboot. you will notice a new Loader icon on the Springboard.

7. Launch the Loader app and install the Cydia store.
