HP announces the HP Pre 3 Touchscreen smartphone [Specs]

At HP’s webOS event in San Francisco, HP has announced the Palm Pre 3 touchscreen smartphone with with webOS 2.2 and a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor. It has 3.6 Inch (480×800) display at WVGA resolution and a slide-out QWERTY Keyboard with backlight.

HP Pre 3 will be available in 8 GB and 16 GB variant. It comes with a Rear-facing autofocus 5-megapixel camera with flash, HD camcorder which is capable up to 720p video recording and a Front-facing VGA fixed-focus camera for live video calling.

The recently announced HP TouchPad tablet can even take the HP Pre 3′s phone calls. You can also share URLs between two devices with the same webOS account, just by touching them together. The HP Pre3 smartphone is scheduled to be available in the Summer.
