Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100) officially announced: Dual -Core, Super AMOLED Display, 1080p HD Recording

Mobile phone maker company Samsung Electronics has released its new slimmest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II, powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System, at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona.

It sports a powerful 1 GHz dual core processor, 3D interface, 1GB of RAM, a 10.9 cm (4.3-inch) WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, 116 grams weight, 8.5mm thick, an 8-megapixel rear camera and can record videos in full high definition 1080p and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

The smartphone also includes on-device encryption and support for Cisco’s mobile solutions for VoIP calls, VPN and virtual desktop.
