Finally, it is officially confirmed, Apple will unveil the much awaited iPad 2 on March 2nd, 2011. Apple has started to sent out invitations to the press for a special iPad 2 event on March 2nd. The event will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am in San Francisco California and it labeled as “Come See What 2011 will be year of”.
As we all know that Apple CEO Steve Jobs is on medical leave these days, so most likely we will miss his presence at the event.
The iPad 2 is expected to be more thinner and with improved processing power, increased memory, front facing camera for FaceTime video chat, better screen, support for GSM and CDMA based etc.
