The new Japanese smartphone called NEC MEDIAS N-04C, is claiming to be the World’s thinnest Android phone. The device is only 7.7mm of thick, compared to the Galaxy S II (8.5mm), iPhone 4 (9.3mm) and Xperia arc (8.7mm).
The 7.7mm thick NEC MEDIAS N-04C smartphone is running on Android 2.2 Froyo OS, features a 4 inch WVGA touchscreen display protected by Gorilla Glass, 854 x 480 resolution, Felica NFC service, infrared port, 5 megapixel camera, 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 chip and 1Seg TV tuner.
This thinnest Android smartphone will be sold on March 15 in the Japanese market through NTT Docomo, Japan’s biggest carrier. It may be available in two simple colors: Black and White. No word about the price.
