Motorola has launched its Google android based tablet – Motorola Xoom, the first device running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. Motorola Xoom tablet is now available for purchase from Verizon for $599.99 with two years agreement or LTE ready version for $799.99.

Now for some reason, if you’re selling or retuning the device or simply problems with it and want to restore the operating system, you can factory reset your Motorola XOOM tablet to default settings and data by following below guides. It will wipe everything from you’re the device.
First make sure to backup your data using one of many apps in the Market.
How to Reset Factory Settings to Motorola Xoom
Software method
1. From the Home screen on Motorola Xoom, select Apps.
2. Tap on Settings.
3. Now Select Privacy.
4. Select Factory data reset.
5. Tap Reset tablet.
6. Select Erase everything.
The factory reset process will then begin. Allow a few minutes before the tablet restarts.
Hardware method
1. First turn the Motorola Xoom off, then press Power to turn it on.
2. When the Motorola logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down button until you see text appear in the upper-left corner of the screen.
3. Press Volume Up. The Android logo should appear with a yellow triangle.
4. Press and hold the Power button, then press Volume Up.
5. Press the Volume down key to highlight wipe data/factory reset.
6. Press Power to make the selection.
7. Press the Volume Down key to highlight Yes — delete all user data.
8. Press Power.
9. Select reboot system now then press the Power button.
Now all your applications, movies, music and other data will be deleted from the tablet, and also all changes made to the Xoom’s operating system and settings will be undone.
