The Famous Angry Birds game coming to Facebook in a Month

Rovio CEO Mikael Hed announces that the wildly popular mobile game Angry Birds is coming to the largest social networking site Facebook in a month.

According to Developer Rovio “Angry Birds will be landing on Facebook with a “completely new aspects to it that just haven’t been experienced in any other platform”. He also added that, because of the “collaborative nature” of Facebook “the pigs will have a more prominent role.”

Angry Birds game has already surpassed more than 75 million downloads on mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, Symbian and WebOS.

Besides Angry Birds for Facebook, Rovio is also working on many other Angry Birds related projects such as a movie and its tie-up game are already under development. A PSN version is already available, and Angry Birds for PlayStation Network, Xbox 360 and Wii versions coming too. Additionally, Rovio is keen to launch several Angry Birds spin-offs, including a racing and a sports game.
