64GB iPhone 4 Models are on Sale in Hong Kong grey market [Leaked Prototype]

Guys over M.I.C. Gadget has published a hands on video and some images of a 64GB iPhone 4 prototype model, which they got from Hong Kong “grey market (Black market)”. According to the sources, this prototype is leaked directly from Apple’s manufacturing partner FoxConns factory in Shenzhen.

The device shows a 64 GB storage capacity and running iOS 4.1, and has baseband 01.59.00.

The next iPhone? We are not sure, but we’ve just got our hands on an engineered prototype of iPhone 4, with 64 GB storage capacity. We tested it, and it is the real thing, no jokes here. On the back of the device, it has “XXGB” marking, representing the unit as potential Apple prototypes. However, we found out that the device is very similar to the lost iPhone 4 prototype bought by Gizmodo. We have a video and some photos for you to take a clearer look at it.

Apparently, this 64GB iPhone 4 is not for sale in grey markets of Hong Kong. The owner of this engineered prototype told us that he got it from a source who has a small quantity of these prototypes. They are definitely leaked from Foxconn’s factory in Shenzhen. What’s more, according to the owner, he believes that the next iPhone will bring 64GB storage capacity to users. Well, we think Apple is planning to update the iPhone 4 with small upgrades, at least featuring a new 64GB model.

The device seems similar to the Gizmodo iPhone 4 prototype, which was found in bar. Both of them have a features “XXGB” sign on the back, and no plus (+) or minus (-) symbols on the volume buttons and no silver ring around the lens.

Apple actually sells only 16GB and 32GB iPhone 4 models, and this engineering prototype model suggests that Apple may release the iPhone 5 with 64GB capacity. It also expected that Apple is going to release the Net-gen iPhone 5 with an aluminum back instead of glass and redesigned antenna.
