Jailbreak iOS 4.3 on iPod Touch 4G / 3G with Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 on Windows

The Snowbreeze 2.3b1 jailbreak tool has been released for Windows users to jailbreak the iOS 4.3 firmware. Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 supports the following devices:

Now follow these step by steps guides to jailbreak your iPod Touch 4G & iPod Touch 3G on iOS 4.3 with Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1.

First Download,

• Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 jailbreak tool
• Download iOS 4.3 for iPod Touch 4G & 3G
• Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes, if not that Download it.

Tethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3 iPod Touch with Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1

1: Launch the Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 tool.

2: Click the next Blue button. Click the Browse button and select the iOS 4.3 firmware file for your device.

3: Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 will verify IPSW. Once the process is completed, click the Next button.

5: Now select Simple mode or Export mode or Baseband Preservation Mode.

6: Now you will see some options to customize the firmware, click the Build IPSW and click the Next button.

7: Sn0wbreeze will start to create custom jailbroken firmware for iOS 4.3. The process will take some time mean while you may play Pacman game if you want.

8: Once the process of creating IPSW is successfully completed, press the OK button and follow the on-screen instruction to put your device DFU mode.

• Connect your iPod Touch to PC, and turn it off.
• Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds, than release the Power button while keep pressing the Home button.

9: Once your iPod Touch is in a Pwned DFU mode, you will see a message on screen. Now it’s time to Restore the custom iOS 4.3 firmware using iTunes.

10: Launch iTunes, Hold down the Shift Key on the keyboard and click the Restore button, select the custom IPSW you just have created.

Now wait till iTunes finishes the restore process on your iPod Touch 4G & 3G. Once it is done, you will have a successfully jailbroken iPod Touch running iOS 4.3.

Boot your iPhone into Tethered Mode using iBooty

As it is a tethered jailbreak, you will need to boot the device into a tethered mode using iBooty, a Windows tool from iH8sn0w.

1: iBooty-for-4.3 folder will be placed on your desktop automatically after running Sn0wbreeze 2.3.

2: Launch the iBooty.exe inside the folder.

3: Select your device from the drop down menu and click the Start button.

4: Follow the on-screen instruction to put your iPod Touch in DFU mode.

5: Once your device is in DFU mode, iBooty will start its process.

Now wait till your jailbroken iPod Touch 4G, 3G is rebooted in a tethered mode.
