Enable / Activate Multi-Touch Gestures on your iOS 4.3 iPad & iPad 2 Without Jailbreak

The newly released iOS 4.3 brings multi-touch gestures for iPad which lets you use 4-5 fingers to exit an app, navigate to the Left and Right on Home-screen and access the apps try etc. But the multi-touch gestures limited to developers only.

iPad hidden gestures

• Swipe 4 or 5 fingers to the left or to the right to navigate through open applications.
• Swipe 4 fingers up to access the running apps tray and playback buttons, including Airplay controls.
• If you Pinch with all your fingers, you will go to the home screen from any app, without touching your home button.

You can enable the multi-touch gestures on your iPad and iPad 2 without a developer account, by using Xcode ($4.99 USD) on Mac OS X App Store app.

Enable / Activate Multi-Touch Gestures on iPad & iPad 2 Without Jailbreak Using XCode

1: Download Xcode 4 app from Mac App Store & install it on your Mac.

2: Launch the Xcode app and connect your iPad to your Mac via USB cable.

3: Now click the “Use for development” button.

4: and when prompted to enter your iOS developer username/password, click on Cancel. It will give you an error, ignore/Disregard it.

Once the developer mode activation is completed, you are done. Go to general preferences menu on your iPad and turn on the new multi-gestures, you can now use up to 4-5 fingers on the iPad screen.
