How to Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered using Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 [Windows & Mac]

iPhone Dev Team has just released the updated Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered. The Redsn0w version supports iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G / 3G and iPad 1 (not iPad 2 at the moment).

Please keep in mind if you rely on a carrier unlock, then you have to stay away from Redsn0w and stock iOS 4.3.3 firmware, and instead, you can use PwnageTool for Mac or Sn0wbreeze for Windows.

Here is the step by step video guide to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered using Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15.

Requirements:

Download iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone,  iPad, iPod touch

Download Redsn0w 0.9.6RC15 for Windows and Mac

Step 1: Download the respective iOS 4.3.3 firmware file for your iOS device and restore it to iOS 4.3.3 via iTunes 10.2.2.

Step 2: Once your device is restored to stock iOS 4.3.3, open up Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 and click on Browse to select the 4.3.3.ipsw file that you downloaded earlier.

Step 3: Click “Next“. Make sure to check Install Cydia options.

Step 4: Now make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click “Next”.

Step 5: Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 will then show instructions on how to put your device in DFU mode. Follow them carefully to put your device in DFU mode.

• Hold Power button for 3 seconds
• Then hold Power and Home buttons together for 10 seconds
• Release Power button but keep holding Home button till installation starts

Step 6: Redsn0w will now work its magic on your device. A series of automated steps will start, and once they are complete, your iOS device will reboot automatically.

Now you should have jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad running ios 4.3.3 firmware.
